Alive in Winter
Come explore our ever active winter forest! Although some species hibernate, there are many that thrive in the snow and freezing temperatures. Goodwin Naturalist, Lena, will guide the exploration of the common species that are active in winter. Then, we will head out to our frosted trails to make observations of our own!
This program is geared for grade school ages, but all are welcome!
This event is jointly sponsored by the Connecticut Forest & Park Association (CFPA), Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection (CT DEEP) Division of Parks, and Friends of Goodwin Forest.
