Activity Leader Volunteer Training
Enjoy working with kids of all ages? Interested in connecting youth to Connecticut’s great outdoors? Become a CFPA Activity Leader!
We are looking for volunteers interested in sharing their passion for the local environment and education. We need your help to inspire wonder, lead hands-on activities, and create stewards of Connecticut’s land. These Activity Programs are led indoors and/or outdoors at CFPA’s Highlawn Forest, other local trails (including the New England Trail) and in schools and sites which work with youth depending on the requests CFPA receives. Bring your enthusiasm and your interest in making a difference.
Get training to lead programs for preschool to high school students, scouts, families, after-school or youth groups. Using fun, hands-on activities, activity leader training provides materials which engage the senses, explore trails, connect to nature literature and more. This is a pilot program, help us build the newest volunteer opportunity!
