WalkCT isn't just about getting your feet moving, it's about improving the quality of life for fellow Connecticut residents and visitors. There is a host of community events to be found throughout the state at any given time of year. Bob Andrulis Memorial Sweetheart Run & Walk
Where: Litchfield Community Center; Litchfield, Connecticut (Litchfield County)
When: Saturday, 2/14; 11:00 a.m. (check-in and on-site registration 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.)
Who: Everyone welcome
What: Celebrate the ones you love and join in this annual run and walk. It's the 7th year for this popular event. The beautiful course follows varied terrain. Afterwards, festivities will be held indoors, starting with age division prizes and excellent refreshments. Proceeds benefit Litchfield Community Center family programs and services.
Admission: Advance registration is $20 per adult, $5 per child (10 and under), and free for seniors (80+) until 1/25. From 1/26 until the day of the event, registration is $25. Directions: The Litchfield Community Center (421 Bantam Rd./Route 202; Litchfield, CT) is located on Route 202 in between Bantam and Litchfield. It is roughly 1.8 miles west of Litchfield town center (and the intersection of Route 202 and 118).
