Students taking the Master Naturalist class at the Goodwin Conservation Center just finished their six formal classes at the Center.  This is the first of two parts of the Master Naturalist Course developed and piloted at Goodwin in 2014 by locally known Naturalist Juan Sanchez.

Gov. Malloy Vetoes Tree Liability Bill, Signs Good Tree Mgt + State Lands Protection Bills

Great news!  In response to many calls and emails from CFPA supporters and partners, Governor Malloy has vetoed HB 5220, a poorly crafted bill that could have pitted neighbors against each other in litigious squabbles over trees.  We will work with the Governor and legislators to come up with a better solution in the future than was proposed in this bill.
