Coordinated statewide by the Connecticut Forest & Park Association since 1993, Trails Day is a national celebration that brings awareness to trails and the many joys and benefits they provide. Strong participation by organizations like the Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC), the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), local and regional land trusts, town agencies, outdoor-minded businesses, CFPA volunteers, and our great sponsors are key to the success of Connecticut Trails Day.
