Geared toward the 6th - 12th grade educator or youth leader.

Recognized as a leader in environmental education for more than 35 years, Project Learning Tree (PLT) enhances critical thinking, problem solving, and effective decision-making skills, teaching students to weigh various sides of an environmental issue to make informed and responsible decisions. Learn engaging activities to teach social studies and civics through an environmental lens. Enjoy activities to help your students/youth visualize a diversity of viewpoints.

Social Studies/Environmental connection: 
--Learn engaging activities to teach social studies and civics through an environmental lens
--topics include land-use management and decision-making

Literature connection:
--Use literature to convey various ethical positions on the management of natural resources
--Varied perspectives of well-known authors, ethicists, naturalists, policy-makers and others are illustrated
