Salmon River Trail, Comstock Bridge, Colchester- Temporary Trail Relocation

The Comstock Covered Bridge off Rt 16 in Colchester is closed for repairs (see WB Map SR-1). A temporary trail relocation is marked by blue-topped stakes and blue flagging.  Please access the Salmon River Trail by parking at the temporary parking lot and cross the Salmon River by walking along RT 16.  Turn left on Bridge Street.  Near the end of Bridge Street, turn right at a yellow gate.  Follow the stakes/flagging 50 yards to a sharp left to rejoin the existing blazed Trail. Please respect the neighbor's wishes and do not park on Bridge Street.
