WalkCT Lives!

CFPA's new and exciting website, an outstanding resource for Connecticut walkers, hikers and communities, can now be accessed at www.walkct.org.

The WalkCT start-up was funded through a grant from the Connecticut Department of Public Health as part of the Healthy Eating and Active Lifestyle program. Other WalkCT partners include the Connecticut Academy of Family Physicians and the Connecticut Recreation and Parks Association.

The Connecticut Forest & Park Association is thrilled to be able to offer residents and visitors an online resource for discovering walking opportunities around our beautiful state. This initial launch is just the beginning. This website will only get bigger and better as we continue to build our database and library of healthy living information.

For 115 years, CFPA has been bringing innovative programs to Connecticut walkers, hikers and conservationists. WalkCT is a new addition to the Association's illustrious list of accomplishments, which includes the Blue-Blazed Hiking Trails, advocating for state forest and parks, and initiatives to protect open space and landowners who choose to allow trails on their property.
