Intro to Bird Watching - a WalkCT Family Ramble

Honk! Honk! Ribbit!! Ribbit!! Quaaack!!! Conquereeee!!!! What? Are we stuck in a traffic jam in New York City? No! We’re at the Raymond Brook Marsh on the Airline Trail in Hebron, and we’re surrounded by frogs and birds! Join us as we make frequent stops to listen and watch during a leisurely 1-1 ½ mile walk on the old Airline Railroad bed. Bring binoculars and birding field guides if you have them, or share ours. Apply your insect repellant if desired and be sure to read the label first. Oh, and remember to bring your whispers and quiet feet. 

RAIN: Thunderstorms, rain or high winds postpone to Sunday, June 28, same time and place.
 
Directions: 

Route 66 to the traffic light at the junction of Route 85 in Hebron. Take Route 85 South approx. 2.4 miles to the parking lot for the Air Line Trail. It will be next to the lumber yard.
