Event Info:
Meet at 9:00 am at the Pattaconk Reservior recreation parking lot in Cockaponset State Forest. Tell attendant you are there for the Trail Work Party and you will not have to pay for parking. Reblaze the South Pattaconk Trail in Cockaponset State Forest and do routine brushing as well. Bring appropriate footwear and clothing (we’ll be painting), gloves, water, snacks and lunch. Rain will not cancel, we’ll do other work instead. Leader: Rob Butterworth, 860-345-8029.
Directions:
Take Route 9 to exit 6 (Route 148). Head west on Route 148 approx. 1.5 miles and take a right onto Cedar Lake Road. Follow Cedar Lake Road for 1.5 miles before turning left into Pattaconk Reservior recreation area. Follow road for .3 miles to large parking lot on the right.
