Ways to Give

The Connecticut Forest & Park Association is a membership-supported non-profit organization comprised of caring individuals who believe that together they can protect Connecticut's open lands and parks in perpetuity.  The Association has a proud history and an unmatched record of success in conserving the state's land, trails. and natural resources.  We rely on the generosity of our members, friends, companies. and foundations to help us in this noble work.  Be an advocate for forests, parks, open lands, trails, and environmental education.  Support our mission and vision

Here are some of the ways in which you can contribute:

Become a Member

Joining CFPA and becoming a member is one critical first step to support our mission.  We hope you will find your participation in this important conservation work to be a rewarding experience.  We also offer the following more tangible benefits of membership.

Annual Fund

The Annual Fund provides essential operating support to sustain our programs to conserve the Blue-Blazed Hiking Trail System and working forests; to publicize walking opportunities and ensure a path to health and happiness for Connecticut citizens; and to provide conservation education training and materials for educators, students, and conservation professionals.

Corporate Support

Corporate partners are welcome to support CFPA programs, events, and publications.  CFPA recognizes corporate partners at sponsored events, in publications such as CFPA News & Notes, and in Connecticut Woodlands

Planned Giving

There are many ways to benefit both CFPA and yourself through a professionally-crafted, well thought-out planned giving program.  A planned gift can give you the comfort of creating a legacy to continue your support of conservation in Connecticut.  Bequests are the easiest form of planned giving support, but there are other options that can be explored with you or your counsel.

Honorary and Memorial Gifts

A thoughtful way to honor a birthday, wedding, anniversary, or to memorialize a loved-one is through a gift to CFPA.  We are glad to work with you to create a special website to make it easy for you and others to give to honor or memorialize some special person or event.
