CT Forest Teachers' Tour
A professional development summer institute of learning
2011
CT Project Learning Tree (PLT) celebrates the International Year of Forests! Teachers from across the state enjoyed a full day of hands-on forest related activities and tours of working forest lands. We learned about sustainable forestry practices in our very own state as we toured a variety of working forests, from public to private. Our trip included a visit to a working saw mill, and visits of sustainablly managed forests.
