Scout Programs

Scouts are invited to discover their natural environment through a variety of ways including hikes, experiments, stories and explorations.  Activities are packed with hands-on fun and are designed to meet badge requirements. Programs are held inside CFPA’s classroom and on its Project Learning Tree Loop Trail.


The following badges can be offered per your timetable, or choose from one of the already scheduled programs.


Brownie Try-Its include: Earth & Sky, Eco-Explorer, Watching Wildlife, Water Everywhere, Listening to the Past and others.

Cub scout workshops include:  Forester or Naturalist

Junior Girl Scout badge activities include:  Earth Connections, Eco-Action, Finding Your Way, Frosty Fun, Outdoor Creativity, Outdoor Surroundings, Plants & Animals, Wildlife, Hiker and more.


2008 Scout Calendar:
Bring your troop or den to these fun and hands-on workshops; activities help earn the following badges or pins.  Programs can also be scheduled per your schedule/calendar for a fee of $5/scout or $75.00 minimum. 

Pre-registration required; $5/scout.

Cub Scouts – Forester, Tuesday, February 27, 4:00 – 5:30 p.m.

Junior Girl Scouts –Finding Your Way, Tuesday, March 18, 4:00 – 5:30 p.m.

Brownie Scouts – Eco-Explorer, Saturday, April 26, 2:00 – 3:30 p.m.
